you would think with how much I stress the fact of Do Your Own Work it would get into their skulls that they needed to do their own work. Today I had 2 boys turn in copied work. I know who copied from whom, but they both get a 0 and they get a strike. I don't understand the need to cheat on an assignment that takes 20 minutes when you have the entire 90 minute period to get the work done. Yet they did it. It dropped their grade an entire step and now I'm bracing for the barrage of "why did I get a 0?" questions I'm going to get from the two of them.
